Major Religious Parties unite against women protection bill

ISLAMABAD: JUI (f) leader Moulana Fazal ur Rehman declared women protection bill an unconstitutional law and said that all religious parties meeting will be held on March 15 in Mansoora in this regard.

 

As per details, a meeting of the religious party’s leaders was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazal ur Rehman on his residence. Religious leaders Siraj ul Haq, Moulana Awais Norani, Abu al Khair Muhammad Zubair, Akram Durrani, Moulana Hussain Ahmad and Shia Ulma Council participated in the meeting.

 

While addressing a press conference after the meeting, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman said that all the parties in the meeting agreed that women protection bill is against the constitution of Pakistan and we will stage protest against the bill.

 

Talking about the execution of Mumtaz Qadri he said that his execution was judicial murder and government is trying to eradicate blasphemy law but we will come out on roads for the protection of blasphemy law and family system.


We agreed that domestic violence and ignorant behaviour should end but few sections of the bill will destroy the family system and values of the society. He added.

 

Pakistan is a religious state and no one will be allowed to make it as secular state while we will not compromise on the freedom of men.
