Work on under-construction Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway is continuing smoothly and is expected to be completed by June next year.
According to details, the motorway, forming part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, will reduce travel time between Islamabad and Dera Ismail Khan.
The four-lane 285-kilometre north-south motorway starts from Hakla Interchange on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway near Fateh Jang and termites at Yarik near Dera Ismail Khan.
On completion, the motorway will boost trade and business activities in less developed areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
