Fearful of Burhan Wani even a year after his martyrdom, Indian Army imposes curfew in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Indian Army has imposed curfew in occupied Kashmir on the first martyrdom anniversary of young freedom fighter Burhan Wani

Despite the curfew like situation in Indian-held Kashmir, the political, religious, and social organizations have chalked out a number of programmes to pay tribute to slain freedom fighter.

On the flip side, Kashmiris of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and elsewhere in the world are also marking the first death anniversary of Kashmiri freedom fighter who embraced martyrdom while striving to win independence for Kashmir.

A debate competition of students titled “The Role of Burhan Muzaffar Wani in Kashmir Liberation Struggle” will be held in Muzaffarabad.
