Govt to promote Islamic values in KP: Khattak

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak says the government has made several legislations to promote Islamic values in the province.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Sunday afternoon, he said that Islamic education has been made compulsory in curriculum of schools and colleges.

Pervez Khattak said the government has started solarization of masajid throughout the province.

The chief minister said ten thousand rupees stipend will be started to the imam masajid.

Speaking on the occasion, Ameer JUI(S) Maulana Sami-ul-Haq lauded the efforts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for promotion of Islamic values in the province.
