23 accused arrested, drugs recovered in huge quantity

KASUR: The police here on Thursday continued operation against criminal activities and arrested 23 accused including 12 drug peddlers and recovered drugs in huge quantity .
According to police sources, on the special directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Kasur, Dr Muhammad Shahzad Asif, police conducted raids at different locations of the area, arrested two drug peddlers namely Irfan, Arif and recovered 1.5 kg charas from their possession.
Sheihum police arrested a accused namely Vikram and recovered 1 kg charas from his possession.
Phool Nagar police arrested three drug peddlers, Riaz, Faryad, Sheheryar and recovered 1.5 kg charas, 15 liters liquor from their possession.
Kangan Pur police arrested Abid and recovered 25 liters liquor.
Allah Abad police arrested five drug peddlers, and recovered 110 liters liquor, accordingly.
