BOI tasked to consult provinces for ease of doing business

ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the government has tasked Board of Investment to coordinate with the provincial governments for improving ease of doing business in the country.
Talking to a delegation of American Business Council led by its President Kamran Nishat in Islamabad, he highlighted the steps being taken by the government to address the issues faced by the business community.
The Prime Minister said the mega project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor has opened up new opportunities in the country that need to be utilized by the business community especially the private sector.
Chairing a briefing on National Highways and Motorways Police in Islamabad, the Prime Minister emphasized upon greater efforts to ensure and promote maximum road safety practices.
He said efforts must continue to acquire latest technology and make the organization more professional and a dedicated force.APP
