Turkish company to build 200 MW solar power plant in Punjab

An MoU was signed in Lahore on Wednesday between Punjab government and a Turkish company Zorlu Enerji Holding for setting up 200-megawatt solar power plant in Bahawalpur.

The Turkish Company will install the solar power plant at the Quid-e-Azam Solar Park.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the provincial government will provide all possible facilities to the Turkish company.

He said that the cost of electricity will be 5.51 cent per unit from this solar project and it will completed by December this year.
