School Principal arrested over attempt to rape 8 year girl in Gurgaon district India

NEW DELHI: The Principal and Director of Aarsha International School India has been arrested by police over allegedly attempting to rape an eight-year old girl.
As per reports, the principal called the victim in his cabin during school time and attempted to rape her.
The police launched an FIR against the principal and arrested him.
Police stated that 72 years old Ramgopal is a former air force officer and arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act, following the complaint by victim’s parents.
The incident took place in Gurgaon district and the school principal was arrested by Palam Vihar Police.
The police official stated that they will produce the accused before Duty Magistrate and seek his remand.
A six years old school girl was also raped and murdered on January 30th in Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj, area in Delhi.
