ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force engineers have added another feather in their cap by overhauling the damaged AWACS surveillance aircraft provided to PAF by Sweden.

After refusal of Sweden, the Pakistani engineers completely overhauled the Awacs plane that was destroyed by terrorists during an attack while Azerbaijan, Zimbabwe and Cameroon also showed interest in purchasing super MASHAK aircrafts.

This was disclosed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Chairman Kamra Arshad Malik on Wednesday in a Standing Committee on Defence Production that met in the Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Khawaja Sohail Mansoor.
