Egypt keen to acquire JF-17 thunder fighters from Pakistan

Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain called on Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in Cairo on Thursday.
Both the leaders expressed the desire for collaboration in joint production of certain defence equipments and showed agreement to exchange expert level delegations to work out modalities for further cooperation.
The Egyptian side evinced keen interest in acquiring JF-17 Thunder aircraft and other military equipment from Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, President El-Sisi underlined the need to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
President El-Sisi called for greater cooperation among brotherly countries to face contemporary challenges besetting the Islamic Ummah.
