16th trade fair of the OIC member states in offing

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The 16th Trade Fair of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) would be held in April 2, 2017 in Iraq, to explore the trade and commerce opportunities existing among the member states.
The event would be held at capital city of Iraq (Baghdad) which would help develop and promote trade and investment relations among the member states by showcasing their products.
OIC reiterated full support to Jammu and Kashmir people
Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has also invited the local business community to participate in the event and take full advantage of trade fair to promote their business links with other members states.
The local companies had been directed to apply for the participation by December 23, said an official of TDAP.
He said the event provides an excellent opportunity for the local Pakistani businessmen to discover trade potential in different sector of economy including agriculture, textile and other general items.

He said the trade fair would also help enhance the collaboration in construction sector, petroleum, gas and pharmaceuticals.
It would also help the local furniture industry, handicraft and food products to explore vast trade opportunities in other countries and enhance their exports.
He said that Trade Development Authority has prepared a list of the products and developed a category with terms and conditions to participate in the event.
