Federal government released funds under PSDP

ISLAMABAD - The government has released Rs6362.281million for Communications Division out of Rs13977.204 million allocated under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for its other than National Highway Authority (NHA). For NHA an allocation of Rs185197 million have been allocated. An official source told APP Monday that for Green Line Bus Rapid Transport System in Karachi, Rs8792 million have been earmarked out of which Rs3517 million have been issued. As far as Karachi Package was concerned, out of the total allocation of Rs5000 million, Rs2743 million have been released for the project. He said that for National Transport Research Centre, axle load surety project, Rs22.64 million have been earmarked for out of which Rs18.834 million have been released. It is worth mentioning here that for NHA a separate allocation of Rs185,197 million has been made in PPDP out of which Rs75,579 million have been released till date.
