European Union raises serious concerns over Israeli military killings of Palestinians

BRUSSELS - Palestinian journalist shot dead by Israeli forces when he was covering a mass demonstration along the Gaza border.

Palestinian Journalists Syndicate termed it as deliberate crimes committed by the Israeli troops.

Meanwhile, the European Union has raised questions about Israeli troops use of force in the latest border clashes with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the European External Action Service stressed that Israeli live fire killed at least nine Palestinians and hurt hundreds more.

It called for clarification of Israeli military reports that Palestinians stoned and firebombed their positions and tried to cross the fence into Israel.
