KABUL – US drone strike kills five Daesh terrorists in Afghanistan nearPakistan borders, Afghanistan media has reported.
Five ISIS Khurasan militants were killed in an airstrike in eastern Kunarprovince of Afghanistan, the Afghan military said Sunday.
According to a statement released by 201st Silab Corps of the AfghanMilitary in the East, the airstrike was carried out in Ocha Naw arealocated in Degal Vally of Chapra Dara district.
The statement further added that the airstrike was carried out amid ongoingoperations by Afghan armed forces who were also suppoted by artillery units.
