Over 40,000 companies registered in Dubai in name of Pakistani nationals: report

According to a statement issued by the Dubai government's media office on Wednesday, 3,395 new companies joined the commerce chamber, propelling Pakistan to the third position in the ranking of registered companies in Dubai. This increase was 59% higher compared to the same period last year, bringing the total number of Pakistani companies in the chamber to 40,315.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, noted that in this regard, India has secured the top position with 6,717 new Indian-owned companies.
The United Arab Emirates ranks second with 4,445 new companies registered.
Other countries that have seen a significant increase in the registration of new companies include Egypt, with 2,154 new companies joining the chamber.
