Fertilizers prices in Pakistan to be reduced: Report

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Finance, Asad Umar on Friday has hinted at reducing the Fertilizers prices for the farmers.
He said that the availability of fertilizer to the farmers on affordable rates was priority of the government and all necessary measures would be taken to that end.
He was chairing a meeting here along with Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce, and Industry Abdul Razak Dawood on the issue relating to fertilizer production and its continued availability in the market in sufficient quantities.
The representatives of the fertilizer industry briefed the Minister on the production capacity of the fertilizer units and made the proposals for ensuring smooth supply in the market.
