ECP hears disqualification reference against MNA Ayesha Gulalai

ISLAMABAD – Member National Assembly (MNA) and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ayesha Wazir Gulalai has on Thursday requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) time to submit reply regarding her disqualification.
The ECP heard the disqualification reference against MNA Ayesha Gulalai. Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq had sent a reference for the disqualification of Ayesha Gulalai to the Election Commission.
During the proceedings, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) asked Ayesha Gulalai that she had received a show casue notice from the party to which she said yes and requested the commission to give further time to her for arranging her counsel as she received the ECP notice on August 31.
The ECP allowed the MNA to submit a reply in writing at the next hearing.
