Wasim Akram mentioned that Shaheen Afridi had a wrist injury before the recent shoulder injury, which has affected his bowling speed. He added that if Shaheen Afridi plays for a year, his rhythm will return, and his bowling speed will improve.
Shoaib Malik remarked that when you return after an injury, there's always a concern about not getting injured again, which can affect your performance. He also expressed hope that Shaheen Afridi's bowling speed is improving, and he will soon display his old form.
It's worth noting that in the first match of the World Cup, the national team suffered a defeat against the Netherlands by 81 runs, and Shaheen Afridi managed to take one wicket. The national team will play their first World Cup match against Sri Lanka on October 10th.
