PIA passenger plane narrowly escapes a big disaster

PIA flight avoided a disaster when during the flight's landing, one of the tires of the plane burst, causing the aircraft to ground at Multan Airport immediately after the incident. The spokesperson for PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) stated that during landing, the air leaked from one of the 18 tires, resulting in a tire burst.

The seventh tire of the Boeing 777 aircraft suffered damage, and it will be replaced before the flight continues from Lahore to Multan.

After replacing the damaged tire, the flight will proceed to Medina Munawara. Additionally, PIA's flight from Islamabad to Karachi is also experiencing a 2-hour delay due to a fuel shortage, causing a delay in its departure.

It's important to note that the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) had provided fuel for PIA's flight from Islamabad to Karachi, but there was a delay in refueling. The delay affected PIA's flight PK 309, which was scheduled to depart at 7 PM.

According to PIA's spokesperson, there has been communication between the CEO of PIA and the Managing Director of PSO, and the flight will take off shortly after refueling. It was also mentioned that Pakistan State Oil had received 480 million rupees in dues for fuel supply obligations on Thursday.
