Explosion reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

In Dera Ismail Khan, there has been an explosion of a gas cylinder on Guard Road in Khadija-tul-Kubra Girls School.

Rescue officials have reported that as a result of the cylinder explosion, 10 female students sustained injuries and were transferred to the district headquarters hospital. After the explosion, fear and panic spread in the area.

On the other hand, there was an attack on a police van in the Elm Mountains of Buner, where one police officer was martyred, and another was injured.

In the Elm Mountains, a search operation against militants of the police and army was underway, during which a remote-controlled bomb exploded on a police mobile carrying food supplies. As a result, Police Mobile Driver Amir Zada was martyred on the spot, and one police officer was injured.

A large number of police and army personnel have arrived at the scene. The injured and martyred officers have been rescued. It is clear that ongoing discoveries of the presence of militants in Elm Mountains of Swat and Buner are being made in a step-by-step manner.
