Wahab Riaz makes a new disgruntled world record

DUBAI: Fast Bowler Wahab Riaz has made a new disgruntled World Record when he failed to deliver the ball after five times run up and dropped the ball at the last moment. He was only able to deliver the ball in the sixth attempt on the second day of the second test match against Srilnaka.

The Pakistan cricket team had added left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz in place of seamer Hassan Ali; the leading wicket-taker of the ICC Champions Trophy is rested due to a side strain.

Hassan Ali had been troubled with fitness problems since the last month when he also missed the second T20 against World XI team.

Pakistan once again chose to retain their main spinner Yasir Shah in the lineup along with three fast bowlers for the second and third Test match of the series against Sri Lanka held in Dubai.

The remainder of the side remains unchanged from the first game — that Sri Lankans narrowly won in Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

The Sri Lankan team are in high spirits after the first match and have only made two changes for the second Test.
