Illegal Kidney Transplant Centre unearthed in Lahore, Doctor arrested

LAHORE – Illegal Kidney transplant centres are under fire in Lahore as further raids have been made after a racket was unveiled by FIA in Johar Town Lahore, just few days ago.
A doctor was arrested on Saturday for allegedly running an illegal kidney transplant clinic situated in Bahria Town.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided illegal kidney transplant clinic where one doctor named Fawad Khan was arrested.
The man had allegedly established the clinic in his home. He was arrested from Thokar Niaz Baig and FIA officials recovered important documents and records from his clinic.
It must be noted here that FIA had previously raided another centre in Johar Town area of Lahore where doctors and gang members were taken into custody.
