PIA management mulling to reduce taxes on tickets: Mehtab

Pakistan International Airlines has devised a Business Strategic Plan to overcome the losses and transform the national flag carrier PIA into a profitable organization by the year 2020.
This was stated by the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi while addressing ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said the employees of PIA are not being sacked but plan is to engage them to perform their respective duties.
He said that PIA management is pondering to reduce the prevalent taxes on tickets. Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan hoped that new Islamabad International Airport would be inaugurated at the end of April this year.
