10 new hydro electricity generation projects to be completed in Pakistan

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that ten new hydro electricity generation projects would be completed in the country during next ten years for the provision of cheaper electricity to the people.
While addressing a function in Multan on Monday, he said Pakistan has the potential of generating fifty thousand megawatt electricity through renewable energy.
The Foreign Minister said that the previous governments signed costly agreements with IPPs.
