Pakistan Post to initiate e-commerce and financial services

Pakistan Post is all set to initiate e-commerce and financial services to cater to the customers' requirements according to changing communication market. An official of Pakistan Post told APP that the Postal reform-agenda envisages re-branding of all post offices and mobile money solution.
He said an action plan for implementation of the agenda has been finalised and major reforms would be introduced in the department during current year.
The official said Pakistan Post has set up model post office at G-8 Markaz, Islamabad and soon other post offices would also be modernized on similar lines.
He said Pakistan Post is also targeting parcel export market.
