Low gas pressure problem likely to be resolved by Jan 15: Ghani

ABBOTTABAD: KP Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani Sunday said the officials of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) had assured that the gas supply to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (PK) would be increased by January 15 ending the problem of its low pressure.

The people of KP were suffering from low gas pressure and electricity load-shedding despite being their big producer, however, the problem would hopefully be resolved soon, he said while addrssing a function here at the Abbottabad Press Club.

Ghani strongly condemned the killing of three-year old Faryal and said the police were investigating the case by using all its resources. More than 300 blood samples were taken for DNA tests while 200 results had been received with negative outcomes, he added.

The speaker said the police would also use Polygraph test to trace the accused.

On the occasion, Mushtaq Ghani distributed the keys of motorcycles, laptops and Umrah tickets among the journalists after balloting.
