Pakistan’s permanent representative to UN Maleeha Lodhi briefs PM on international affairs

ISLAMABAD: Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Dr. Maleeha Lodhi met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House in Islamabad. PM Nawaz was briefed over the efforts for promoting and protecting Pakistan’s interest by Maleeha Lodhi.


While taking to Maleeha Lodhi, PM Nawaz emphasized that we should effectively utilize our presence in UN to create soft image of Pakistan in international community.


PM Nawaz also lauded the role of Maleeha Lodhi to promote Pakistan interest in UN. He appreciated the representation of Pakistan at UN saying that Mission's responsibility in strengthening Pakistan's role and contribution to the United Nations in the months ahead will be important.


Maleeha Lodhi also informed PM Nawaz that international community support the efforts of Pakistan for the eradication of terrorism.
