PAC produced 16 JF-17 fighter jets in 2015 as per target

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force has completed the annual production target of JF-17 fighter jets. Pakistan Aeronautical Complex PAC has produced 16th JF-17 in 2015 as per target.


As per details, a ceremony was held in Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra regarding the completion of production target of JF-17 in 2015. Federal Minister for Defense Rana Tanveer was the chief guest of ceremony. PAF Chief Sohail Amman was also present in ceremony.


According to PAF Spokesperson, PAC has handed over 16 JF-17 jets to PAF this year. PAF is producing 16 fighter jets annually.


While addressing the ceremony, Defense Minister Rana Tanveer said that Pakistan is moving fastly to meet its defense requirements at local level. 25 JF-17 will be produced in next year as per target.


PAF Chief Sohail Amman congratulated the engineers of PAC over the completion of annual production target of JF-17. He said that JF-17 jets will be sold to other countries after completion of country’s defense needs.
