Major political parties of KP want merger of FATA with KP province along with abolishing of FCR

PESHAWAR: All FATA Political Alliance has rejected FCR and demanded from government to merge FATA in KP province.
As per details, All FATA Political Alliance held a grand Jirga at Peshawar Press Club regarding the matter of FCR and FATA.
PPP leader Ikhwanzada Chittan, JI Fata leader Amir Zarnoor, ANP Fata leader Nisar Mehmand, PTI Fata leader Iqbal Afridi, Watan Party Fata leader Zahir Shah and others tribal leaders attended the Jirga.
Tribal leaders said that the committee constituted by Governor and PM is un aware of the issues of tribal people. The committee was rejected by the tribal people due to absence of their representation in committee.
“If we are ignored, we will protest,” said Zarnoor Afridi, who represents Jamaat-e-Islami. “Political agents are hatching conspiracies, forcing tribespeople to fight each other so peace can never be maintained in the region.” Zarnoor added, “Our demand is to incorporate FATA into K-P to unite the Pukhtuns.”
