Pakistan calls for implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir

UNITED NATIONS:Pakistan has urged the UN Security Council to implement its resolutions on Kashmir.
This was stated by Pakistan's permanent representative to the UN Maleeha Lodhi while speaking at a debate on the 'Working Methods of the Security Council in New York.
She stressed the need for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency in the 15-member body's work.
Maleeha Lodhi said the Council's enhanced engagement with the wider United Nations membership was critical, as everyone had a stake in the maintenance of international peace and security.
