ISLAMABAD: Captain (retd) Safdar has been rushed to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader was brought to the health facility on doctors’ instructions.
Safdar, the son-in-law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has been ailing for the past several days, receiving medical treatment in Lahore.
On September 19, Islamabad High Court suspended the sentences against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law retired captain Mohammad Safdar, releasing them on bail from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
