PAF Chief visits Nigerian Air Force headquarters

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force Sohail Aman visited Nigerian Air Force Headquarters.
On his arrival, he was received by Air Chief Marshal SB Abubakar, Chief of the Air Staff, Nigerian Air Force.
A smartly turned out contingent of Nigerian Air Force presented him the Guard of Honour, a PAF press release issued here on Tuesday said.
Afterwards, he was given a detailed briefing on the working of Nigerian Air Force.
Later on the Air Chief called on Air Chief Marshal SB Abubakar, Chief of the Air Staff, Nigerian Air Force. Both the dignitaries remained together for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The Air Chief emphasized the importance of training and assured his counterpart for providing technical support and assistance to Nigerian Air Force.
The Nigerian Air Chief thanked the Air Chief for enhancing the cooperation in professional training and technical expertise.
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force also visited National Defence University of Nigeria, where he delivered a lecture on PAF's role in the operation against terrorism.
Addressing the audience, the Air Chief said that PAF is playing a critical role in operation Zarb-e-Azb and created a favourable environment for the ground forces to operate without any resistance.
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force is on an official visit to Nigeria on the special invitation of Nigerian Air Force.
