Seven companies including two foreign ones bid to take franchise of five PSL teams.

ISLAMABAD: Seven companies will take part in bidding process of Pakistan Super League. The ceremony for bidding the PSL teams will be held in PCB Headquarter Lahore. PCB will offer rights of five franchise which includes Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta and Peshawar for ten years. A number of companies bought bidding document but just 7 companies presented formal proposals. Companies from Middle East was also include seven companies. Now the seven companies will fight it out to buy franchises. The companies comprised on ARY media group, Omer Association, Arif Habib Group, Haier, Mobilink and two foreign companies including UAE’s Venture Capital and Qatar’s Premier Oil Company QALCO. PSL officials said that “We’re happy that seven credible companies with clean and strong backgrounds have participated in the bidding war of PSL franchises,”
