PCB will earn $ 93 million (approx. 10 million Rs.) in ten years from PSL auction

ISLAMABAD: The process of auction has been completed for Pakistan Super League. 5 teams of PSL have been sold in $ 93 million for ten years. The central sponsor will be Habib Bank while broadcasting rights have been bought by Tech Front, a UAE-based media rights acquisition company. As per details, Karachi was the most expensive team which was bought by ARY group at $ 26 million dollar. Lahore was bought by Qatar Oil at $ 25.1million, Peshawar by Haier at $ 16 million, Islamabad team by Leonine Global at $ 15 million and Quetta team was bought by Omer Association at $ 11 million. While talking to media at Qaddafi stadium, PCB Executive Committee head, Najam Sethi said that PCB will earn $ 93 million in ten years from PSL auction. He said the next phase of PSL is about the appointment of coaches and it will be completed within 10 days. He further add that 24 matches will be played in Sharjah and Dubai from 4 to 24 February.
