High ranking FIFA officials arrested over corruption charges

ISLAMABAD: 16 officials have been charged by US authorities investigating corruption at FIFA . US custom officials raided in Florida and Disney and arrested several FIFA officials who were involved in corruption. As per details, law Enforcement Agencies of USA have intensified their action to arrest the wanted officials of FIFA corruption scandal. US authorities have indicted 16 accused and started to arrest further suspects. Former Brazil football federation Chief Ricardo Teixeira was among those accused of being "involved in criminal schemes involving well over $200m (£132m) in bribes and kickbacks". On the other hand, the former president of Peruvian Football Federation Manuel Borg arrested from his home in the Capital, Lima. He was also among those who have been indicted in corruption charges.
