Intermittent rain lashes Islamabad, Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi and Islamabad are receiving heavy rains since last night. As a result low lying areas particularly of Rawalpindi have been inundated.
Heavy rain has raised water level in the Nullah Lai. The district administration has taken precautionary measures to tackle possible flood in the Nullah.
Meanwhile, hot and very humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country during the next twelve hours.
However, rain-thundershower accompanied by gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Hazara, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir while at isolated places in Malakand, Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Zhob, Mirpurkhas, Bahawalpur divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Tuesday morning:
Islamabad twenty-three degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-five centigrade, Karachi and Peshawar twenty-eight, Quetta and Gilgit twenty, Murree eighteen and Muzaffarabad twenty-two degree centigrade.
