Abrogation of Article 35-A unacceptable at any cost: JI IOK

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Jamaat-e-Islami has made it clear that abrogation of or amendment to Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution will not be acceptable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir at any cost.
The Jamaat-e-Islami in a statement in Srinagar said, the communalist government of India led by Hindutva forces will never be allowed to create a Palestine-like situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Jamaat-e-Islami pointed out that the vicious attempts for abrogation of Article 35-A and 370 are being made to change the demography and thereby frustrate the people’s demand for self-determination. However, Kashmiris are united to defeat all such sinister designs, it said.
The JI said Indian forces are hell-bent upon massacring the young Kashmiri generation to suppress the voice of the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.
