Without naming him the Supreme Court verdict has bound the National Assembly speaker to elect Shahbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan through the Vote of No Confidence.
Supreme Court has barred the NA speaker not to adjourn the NA session unless the decision of the VONC is taken without keeping in mind the brutal horse trading by the opposition parties.
With the decision of the Supreme Court of the Pakistan the buying and selling of MNAs worth Rs 20 crore legalised in Pakistan for Vote of No Confidence.
Reportedly Pakistani MNAs were sold worth Rs 20 crore each for making the vote of no confidence successful.
The Supreme Court has restored the National Assembly, declaring null and void the Deputy Speaker's ruling of dismissing no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.
The judgment in the suo-moto case regarding the ruling was announced by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial in Islamabad this evening.
The five-member larger bench of the apex court headed by the Chief Justice in a unanimous decision declared that National Assembly session be called on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for voting on the 'No Trust Motion.'
