Additional Inspector-General Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Sanaullah Abbasi told reporters that the facilitators of Sehwan Sharif blast were identified through CCTV footage from the days following up to the attack, which also wounded more than 300 devotees.

Abbasi played video footage for reporters showing the suspected facilitators speaking to the suicide bomber at the shrine on February 15, a day before the deadly bombing.

The CTD official said the suspects had carried out reconnaissance of the area to facilitate the horrific terrorist attack, which took place when devotees had gathered inside the premises of the shrine to participate in a dhamaal and prayers.

Photographs captured from CCTV footage have been sent to NADRA for further identification of the suspects, he said, adding that a Rs5 million reward has been set for information leading to their arrest.
