Amjad Khan claimed that he was not given Party support.
PPP candidate Najmi Alam claimed that Amjad Khan contacted him and asked for financial benefit to with draw in his favour which he denied.
Father of Amjad Khan claimed that his son might be under pressure.
PTI spokesman Naeem ul Huq said that Amjad Khan has tweeted that he took this decision for the protection of his family in Karachi.
