Kashmir shuts down on call of APHC against Indian Army brutality 

SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Gillani called a total shutdown in Kashmir against brutality of Indian army who martyred two Kashmiri youth in gun battle.

 

All shops, commercial establishments and public transport remained suspended in wake of martyrs.

 

Earlier, Indian army martyred Kashmiri youth in gun battle by claiming that they were militants in Sophian and Pulwama districts.

 

As the news spread, thousands of people gathered and hold protest against the brutal act of Indian forces.

 

The protesters burnt several army vehicles and erupted clashes with them.

 

Protesters chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan and also hoisted Pakistan national flag.

 

Thousands of Kashmiris have been killed by India’s brutal acts and state terrorism.

 

Kashmir is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan and both claim for it, they had fought two wars on the conflict since their independence from Great Britain in 1947.
