ISIS hostage 300 cement workers in Syria

DAMASCUS: ISIS allegedly hostage 300 cement workers of Al Badia cement company near the town of Dumair in northeast of Damascus.

 

Syria’s state media claimed that the incident took place in area where ISIS launched sudden assault against government forces days before.

 

Al Badia’s employer claimed that he is trying to establish contact with factory workers but its useless.

 

No further details are available and no one has claimed the responsibility of abduction yet.

 

On the other hand, UN envoy for Syrian peace talks Staffan de Mistura claimed that new round of peace talks would be held soon.

 

He claimed that he will travel to Iran, Syria and Jordan to discuss the terms and conditions for the progress in peace talks.

 

Currently, Syria is passing through a truce and ISIS and al-Nusra Front is excluded from it.

 

Syria’s civil war has entered in the 6th year.

 

More than quarter of million people died and millions dispersed from their homes in the conflict.
