In yet another low, Indian authorities ban Muharram processions in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR – After usurping all basic rights and freedoms of the people ofoccupied Kashmir, India also bans Muharram processions in the territory.

Since abrogation of special status of occupied Kashmir on 5th August, theIndian authorities have also not allowed Juma prayers at Srinagar’shistoric Jamia Masjid.

Meanwhile, the occupied valley remains under strict military siege on the34th consecutive day, today.

All markets, schools and colleges are closed while transport is off theroad.

Internet, mobile, landlines and TV channels in most areas are also shut.

Patients are scrambling for medicines while doctors are facing immensedifficulties to reach the hospitals.
