Occupied Kashmir residents aid handed over to Pakistan Red Crescent by international organisation

ISLAMABAD – Jammu and Kashmir Voice of Victims (JKVoV), a human rightsorganisation, handed over a food and medicines consignment to Pakistan RedCrescent Society (PRSC) for IOK residents.

Secretary General PRCS Khalid Bin Majeed received the consignment fromChairman JKVoV Altaf Ahmad Bhat in the presence of Incharge Sweet HomeZumarud Khan, Secretary National Press Club Anwar Raza and other notablesat PRCS headquarters in Islamabad, said a statement issued on Friday.

Chairman JKVoV said IOK was running out of food shortage and medicines werenot available in stores and hospitals.

“Children are crying for milk and patients have no access to life-savingdrugs,” he said.

It’s been over a month since the stringent restrictions including curfewand communication blackout are in place to head off protests in IOK afterNew Delhi abrogated the special status and bifurcated its onlyMuslim-majority region.
