KARACHI – A sacked factory worker made other employees hostage at gunpointon Tuesday.

Saleem also claimed of possessing explosive in his bag.

Talking to the media, he said that he was sacked six months ago and notgiven the salary. “I have not harmed any person. I want to record mystatement to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he said.

He said that he wants to change the system in the country and should beprovided with justice.

Malir SSP Munir Sheikh told the media that the accused is a former employeeof the factory. He said that manager Salman, Haq Nawaz and Dilshad havebeen made hostage. “The armed man is also watching TV,” he said.
