LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday has lashed out atIndia over the atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
He said that the Indian forces have crossed all lines in Kashmir and thatit must put an end to the atrocities against Kashmiris.
Referring to Sunday’s clashes between suspected militants and the police,which left six dead, including a university professor, Shehbaz paid homageto the sacrifices of the Kashmiri youth and the professor, while he alsoprayed for quick recovery of the wounded civilians.
The Punjab CM continued: “Not even teachers and students are secure fromthe Indian state-sponsored terrorism. India has crossed all limits, and itis time they put an end to the atrocities in Kashmir.”
Shehbaz said that the Indian forces, via the use of force, can not deprivethe Kashmiris of their right to self-determination. He also urged theglobal community to “wake up” and counter Indian actions in the region.
