Special Representative for Afghanistan, Asif Ali Durrani, strongly denied Afghan allegations of Pakistani interference. Speaking at an event in Islamabad, Durrani stated that Pakistan did not invite the Soviet Union to Afghanistan, nor did Pakistan host Afghan refugees by its own choice.
He emphasized that Afghans themselves should decide on peace, stability, development, and prosperity in Afghanistan, as Pakistan or the international community cannot provide a lasting solution for peace and security in Afghanistan.
He also mentioned that the TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan) has been launching terrorist attacks from Afghanistan into Pakistan, and it is crucial to stop this cycle.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid had given an ultimatum to illegally residing foreign nationals in Pakistan, allowing them until November 1 to leave the country voluntarily, stating that if they don't comply, the relevant authorities will deport them.
