After news of imposing taxes on individuals with an income of less than 50,000, an important statement has been issued by the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Amjad Zubair.
According to details, Chairman FBR Amjad Zubair has stated that there is currently no proposal to impose taxes on individuals and businesses with incomes of less than 50,000, and there is no consideration for introducing new taxes. They are collecting taxes according to the set targets.
Under the presidency of Finance Minister Shaukat Azhar, a meeting on the country's economic situation was held, in which Chairman FBR briefed the board members along with the Finance Minister.
It is reported that the meeting discussed measures to curb smuggling and provided a briefing on revenue collection.
