Dacoits in Police uniform robbed businessman in Lahore worth crores of rupees

In Ichhra, a district of Lahore, an alarming incident unfolded as two individuals, posing as police officers, carried out a daring robbery. A businessman was targeted, resulting in a substantial loss of Rs15 million. The entire ordeal took place on a fateful Friday.

The sequence of events began when four individuals, riding on two motorcycles, approached the unsuspecting trader. Deceptively, they conveyed to him that he had been summoned by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) stationed at Mughalpura Station. This ruse served as the initial step in their elaborate plan.

Following this, the victim complied with the instructions and made his way to the Mughalpura underpass, where the supposed meeting was to take place. However, once they arrived at this location, the situation took a treacherous turn. The criminals, cunningly masquerading as law enforcement officers, brandished a menacing rifle, causing the businessman to fear for his life. Shockingly, they swiftly handcuffed him and forcefully seized the substantial sum of money he had in his possession.

Their audacious act completed, the impostors promptly made their escape, fleeing the scene in a vehicle that had been strategically parked nearby. This daring robbery underscores the need for heightened vigilance and security measures in the area, as citizens and law enforcement alike grapple with the audacity of such criminals.
