A report by BBC reveals that Dalit women in India are among the most oppressed women in the world.
The report notes that ten Dalit women used to be raped in India everyday and there is no decline in number yet.
It finds that the state and institutions in India try to downplay the cases of rape by refusal to register their case, tardy investigation and even doubting the very incident.
